What would you do if you were out in the middle of nowhere and a wild animal laid down beside you? I’ve been chased by alligators, struck at by rattlesnakes and growled at by Bobcats, but this was a first for me!
A curious Coyote.
Coyotes are usually afraid of people and quite wary but this one seemed to be curious about my presence. Perhaps it had seen me before and knew that I wasn’t going to harm it?

After about 25 minutes or so, it was getting dark and I decided to leave. Photography is about recording memories, and this one was one of my most memorable moments. This event happened earlier this year. You never know what amazing photography opportunities might present themselves in southern Texas!
